UX/UI Workshop

I worked to strategize and design a practical solution to student textile and clothing waste during a UX/UI workshop at the University of Oregon.

Here, I've harnessed the HTML resources provided by the University of Oregon's website as an efficient and sustainable means of delivering current resources and content to students about the clothing donation and recycling project. For a comprehensive overview, please refer to the presentation deck located at the bottom of this page. In essence, this initiative fosters collaboration between Environmental Studies (ENVS) and Journalism students, with a shared focus on mitigating textile waste. The project involves repurposing student textile scraps into clothing items at the University Craft Center, which will then be showcased at a University fashion show.

Students will have the opportunity to subscribe to text notifications and an e-newsletter to gain insights on reducing their environmental footprint and participating in "Thrift Week." During this event, clothing items will be organized on racks for students to explore and select for their personal wardrobes – envision it as an expansive clothing swap. Sounds exciting, doesn't it?
